Screen Graphics, Props Graphics
2021
The Flash is a high-octane superhero film that explores the complexities of time travel and the multiverse, following Barry Allen as he races to alter the past and save the future.
For The Flash, I contributed to the project by creating props and screen graphics that appeared throughout various timeframes in the film. These visual elements helped ground the story’s shifting realities and added authenticity to the diverse environments portrayed on screen.
Learning At A Young Age
For the Kid Barry scene in The Flash (2023), I created a variety of prop graphics that added depth and personality to the character’s environment. This included designing visuals of Kid Barry’s attempts at solving multiple approaches to a challenging math problem, showcasing his curious and analytical mind.
Additionally, I produced detailed props of Kid Barry’s drawings, featuring dinosaurs and other imaginative sketches, which were pinned and displayed throughout the kitchen scene. These elements helped to build a believable, lived-in world that subtly conveyed Barry’s youthful creativity and intellect.
Gaming In the Present
For the alternate timeline version of Barry Allen in The Flash (2023), I created screen graphics displayed in Barry’s 2013 bedroom. One notable element was a custom-designed visual showcasing Mortal Kombat 9 running on a PC setup, adding an authentic and nostalgic touch to the character’s space. This detail helped ground the scene in its specific time period and enriched the storytelling by reflecting Barry’s interests in this alternate reality.
