DashJump is a Final Year Project I created at Staffordshire University in 2021.
DashJump is an On-Foot Racing game I made in my Final Year of University.
The game takes inspiration from two Korean Online Racing game I used to play, FreeJack and Tales Runner. I poured countless hours into both of these growing up, so I wanted to recreate them for my University project.
My tasks for this project:
Created a Playable Character with its gameplay systems to interact with the game world.
Created 1 full playable race course for the player to run around and interact in.
Implemented a Time Trial Game Mode that records and grades scores.
Time Trial Game Mode to record times and scores, with a scoring system.
